tekehu is really strong but needs micro to work properly, in case you dont like it. Tekehu - pure druid or druid/chanter are both very good. Maia - scout (ranger/rogue) is the best, pure ranger isnt really fun and im not sure how a geomancer works. Xoti - best used pure priest, monk-priest doesnt offer much synergy and you want to get the best priest spells quicker (single class has a faster progression and gets stronger spells earlier) Take it with a grain of salt.Ĭhoosing your watchers class is up to you, choose your favorite class and maybe try mixing a multi class if you feel like it.Įder - pure class for eder its not really worth it and its most boring, swashbuckler is definitly the stronger and most fun class for himĪloth - any pick is ok here, but i find battlemage the strongest for him because he lacks accuracy for a pure wizard It's effective but it might get old and defeat the purpose.Īll these are just my preference though. An example of what I mean is like, Bleak walker+assassin, where you basically go into every fight: stealth->Flames/other melee ability,->restealth->repeat till victory. I'd also avoid gimmicky multi-classes that hinge on basically a single synergy where you basically repeat the same thing to win every encounter. Just that in general its fun comes on the slower side. That's not to say multi-classes aren't fun.

While they generally end up more powerful, multi-classes gain new abilities much slower which can lead to both: A lull in the early game before your synergies actually pan out, and just not having as much fun when you level up. Whatever you choose though, I wouldn't recommend multi-classing because it has a slightly less satisfying level progression. They have more than twice the variety of some other classes, and that's just single class.

Grimoires are loot that's only useful to a wizard, which is fun in itself. Some of the strongest self-buffs to the point where it's pretty easy to make yourself untouachable. That said, it takes some understanding of how POE works, but you could buffer that by playing on lower difficulties. Through grimoires you basically have access to every spell in the game without investing a single skill point. Wizards are my favorite class personally. Depends on if you enjoy learning systems and stuff.
